A growing private markets investment platform is looking to hire a Finance Manager / Controller, Funds / Fund Administrator to join its Fund Operations team in Hamburg.
This is an opportunity to work closely with an international team supporting Private Equity, Venture Capital, feeder funds, co-investments, direct investments, real estate funds, and other alternative investment structures.
Responsibilities
Administration of private market investments, including closed-end funds and direct investments
Preparation and development of quarterly fund and investor reporting
Support capital calls, distributions, liquidity management, and cash flow monitoring
Assist with NAV, IRR, and performance reporting activities
Provide operational support to the investment team across fund-related activities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of fund administration and operational workflows
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Ideally, 3–8 years of practical experience in fund administration, fund accounting, fund controlling, fund operations, audit, corporate finance, investment banking, asset management, or related areas
Experience with private markets, real estate funds, PE/VC funds, feeder funds, UCITS, or other fund structures is highly relevant
Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Fluent English; German language skills are a plus
